Mascarella Concept

So what are we about? It’s really a bit difficult to define, as the Mascarella concept has evolved over the years without any supervision, restrictions, or rules. It’s quite easy to define what we are not. We are not a club as we don’t have any membership or even a way of joining. We don’t have any hierarchy…no leader, ranking or social order. We are not some sort of cult, or sect, or passing fad. Although we are now launching our own Website here, this is not social media platform (there are already far too many of those), or internet community. We don’t have influencers, or bloggers, or anybody who tells you what to wear, or listen to, or do. Our site is just a means of communicating our ideas and keeping people interested in Mascarella informed about what’s going on in our sphere.

So, what the hell are we? Really, just a group of like minded individuals who enjoy similar things. Normal stuff… music (especially hip hop)…eating and drinking – you don’t have to be an alcoholic, but it helps…movies & TV, and gaming. Above all, Mascarella is about sharing and socializing. Going out, meeting people, listening to music, watching & playing sport, and chatting and arguing about all these things.

Although Mascarella originated in Bologna, we have long outgrown our roots and are very inclusive. You don’t have to come from Bologna or even be Italian to be part of Mascarella.

Reflecting on all this, it’s clear that Mascarella is a very inclusive fluid concept….so the need for any exact definition can be left for another day!
